Our Historic Neighborhoods community lost a charismatic pillar on June 4, 2024. At 101, Tom Ridley from the Ransom Place neighborhood lived a full life and was loved and admired by many.

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, the Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission (IHPC) voted unanimously in favor of both Declaratory Resolutions 2024-R-01 and 2024-R-02.
On Monday January 29, despite overwhelming opposition from residents and businesses, the Senate passed SB 52, a bill authored by Sen. Aaron Freeman that would place a moratorium on dedicated lanes projects while a study is conducted to determine its viability.
The fight from outdoor advertising companies to chip away at Indianapolis' restrictions on billboards continues. They've now enlisted allies in the state legislature to attempt to circumvent and bully the City of Indianapolis from the Statehouse.
